Welcome to Willows Cattery !
Sorry but we are unable to board any un-neutered male cats over the age of 9 months. We also cannot accept any pregnant or nursing cats.
Only cats from the same household may be boarded together, however if it is felt necessary to separate the cats the additional costs must be met by the owner.
Boarding fees are calculated on a daily basis and a full day’s charge is charged for the day of arrival and departure regardless of arrival and departure time. At the time of booking we will require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee. The remaining balance is payable at the time of checking into the cattery. Bookings for August and the Christmas Holidays – these are payable in full at the time of booking. August and Christmas Holiday bookings are for a minimum of 5 days.
No checking in or out is allowed outside of our opening hours.
If you wish to collect your pet before the end of the agreed booking, then the whole booking fee will still be charged.
Any medical conditions or behavioural problems must be declared at the time of booking.
Due to cross contamination risks we are unable to board any cat with a known infectious condition or flea infestation. We suggest the use of a proprietary flea treatment (Please do not do this on the day of boarding). If a cat is found to have worms or fleas, then treatment will be given at the owner’s expense.
Although we will take every care and attention, cats are admitted at the owner’s risk.
Cats must arrive at the cattery in a secure and suitable carrier, not in your arms or a box, the carrier will be placed in the pen with your cat during their stay with us.
All cats MUST be healthy and fully vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu and have had a booster within the last 12 months, this should be given no less than 2 weeks before the boarding start date. We do recommend that you also vaccinate against Feline Leukaemia, but this is not compulsory.
If you cannot provide evidence of vaccinations then boarding will be refused and your deposit forfeited.
All cats will be inspected upon arrival and any collars will be removed before boarding to reduce the risk of any injury.
We are happy to administer tablet / liquid / powder prescribed medications, but we are unable to administer any medications that are injected. A separate form for medications must be filled in by the owner and are administered at the owner’s risk.
We will provide beds and bedding for each cat. Should you wish to bring your own bedding this must be clean and in suitable condition. Any bedding, toys or comfort items are left at the owner’s risk.
We ask that you bring along your own food, and that you provide enough food to cover the duration of the stay. We do not provide cat milk but are happy to offer this to your cat if you provide it.
We supply heating and extra bedding in the chillier months at no extra cost.
We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles or property howsoever caused whilst on the premises.
If during your cat’s stay we suspect that they are unwell we will make every effort to contact you, your own Veterinarian or your authorised contact.
If we are unable to make contact, then we will seek medical advice from a local Veterinarian. Willows Cattery provides free insurance which covers your cat for £2000.00 whilst in our care.
Any costs that are not covered by insurance must be reimbursed by the cat’s owner. A Veterinarian agreement form must be signed for each booking.
We require a minimum of 30 days notice to cancel a booking,
Bookings cancelled 7-30 days before the start of the booking - the 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Bookings cancelled less than 7 days before the booking start date - the whole boarding fee is payable.
If these conditions are not met, then we reserve the right to refuse boarding
On occasion we will take photographs of our boarding cats to use for promotional purposes. Willows Cattery reserves the right in perpetuity to use these images without cost.
These images may be published on our website or social media pages.
