Why do we keep personal data?
We collect information about this as a legal obligation under Part A (2.1) of The Animal Welfare Regulations 2018, Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations and this is a condition of our Animal Boarding License. We require your consent to continue to hold your data beyond 3 years from the boarding dates and to make future bookings using your old records easier. When you rebook, legal obligations with regards to data are again in force.
Your personal information forms part of the contract between us. We have outlines the four reasons mentioned above to hold your data, the primary one being our legal obligation.
What personal data do we keep?
The type of information we are legally required to collect about you includes your name, your address, email address and your phone number, which vet you use and a local emergency or your authorised person’s contact phone number. By giving us your emergency contacts details we will take this as you have gained their expressed consent to do so for boarding purposes.
We will never collect additional information about you without informing you of this beforehand.
